Revell 03853 1/48 Scale Panavia Tornado GR.4 'Farewell'
The brilliant Revell 1/48 scale tooling of the iconic Panavia Tornado features excellent detail, good fit and is a relatively recent release that's also been used by Eduard. The kit focuses on the final days of service for the Tornado, which had its origins in the1968. It was then that the PANAVIA consortium was established by Germany, Italy and Britain to fulfil the needs for the MRCA (Multi-Role Combat Aircraft) Project. On September 14, 1974, the flight of the first prototype took place and the construction of the first 640 ordered aircraft began, with production split in such a way that Germany and Great Britain each completed 42.5%, and Italy 15% of the order. This particular kit focuses on the schemes commemorating the retirement of this classic jet from British use in 2019.
